On the fourth day…

by i.burgess on November 30, 2009

‘On the third day, he rose again’

But what about the fourth day?

What are we supposed to do now?

Work, study, play, rest. Life goes on

Talk to God, now

Dear Lord, your resurrection has seemed so real to me sometimes. I remember when I first knew you, I was living in the third day. The joy of new life was in me and every new moment with you was real treasure.

But now, the next day has come.

And I need to know your hope again.

Take me, now, in the normality of my life. In the plain, ordinary activity.

Please make it something extra-ordinary.

That all people could know that Jesus really rose from the dead, that there is a hope for all people

Amen
