It can be a bit daunting. i'm not really from a liturgical background but I have found that it can really help to shape our prayers and our thoughts

I particularly like the way the prayers of intercession (when done well) can come together and circle out from us and our own needs and take in the needs of the local church, the local community and then a wider aspect of the Kingdom of God (whole world)

Wesley really considered the Eucharist to be one of hte means of grace and I back him up on that. Sometimes we can 'miss' it because of the liturgy (just going through the motions) OR miss it because we do it in too casual a way ... but the biggest travesty of all is when we fail to break the bread and share the cup at all or bar people from receiving for one reason or another.

Jesus invited all to dine with Him and one thing I like is that he even invited himself to dine with others :) ... something to be learnt from that too I think!

PS I wrote about communion today too.
